Individual counselling may encompass career counselling and planning, grief after a loved one dies or dealing with problems before they become big.

Relationship counselling or couples therapy helps to improve the relationship between you and your partner in a safe setting and supportive space for you and your partner to work through issues and strengthen your bond. Relationship counselling includes:

Therapies

ACT, CBT, and REBT

Each therapy equips individuals with tools and strategies to manage challenging emotions, thoughts, and situations in a healthier way. Gaining a deeper understanding of their own thoughts, feelings, and triggers. This self-awareness empowers them to make conscious choices and navigate life’s challenges more effectively.

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

It focuses on accepting not so easy to accept thoughts and emotions, informing people not to control those emotions. It helps individuals identify their core values and commit to actions that align with those values. Making a positive shift through mindful exercises and behavioural activation strategies.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

this theory aims to challenge negative thoughts and patterns contributing to emotional draining. Emphasising on the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviours. This therapy utilises techniques like cognitive restructuring (challenging negative thoughts), exposure therapy, and relaxation training.

REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy)

It is a type of CBT that focuses on changing the irrational beliefs that negatively affect a person's emotions or behaviors.Therapists teach individuals to identify and dispute unhelpful thinking patterns. REBT often uses humour, debate, and role-playing exercises to challenge negative beliefs.
